Instructions: List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your livejournal along with your 7 songs. Then tag 7 other people to see to what they're listening.

1. Unwritten- Natasha Bedingfield-- I hated this song the first few times I heard it and it's grown on me to the point that it's the song on my Myspace page

2. Must Be Doing Something Right- Billy Currington--  A slow, sexy country song that turns a really good phrase.  I love love love it.

3.  Sugar We're Going Down- Fallout Boy-- This just makes me want to dance.  And it's catchy.  I like that.

4. Soul Thing- Taylor Hicks-- From his pre-Idol EP Under the Radar.  It's really bluesy, really soul-y.  (PS-- Taylor's prom pic is in this week's issue of People and he was HOT.  Also not yet going gray.)

5. Sugar High- Coyote Shivers- The song at the end of Empire Records. This is the, um, more, um, risque version.

6. The Real Thing- Bo Bice-- I can't take this CD out of my CD player.  It's a little too poppy, and not enough Bo rock, but the songs are cute.

7. You Can't Go Home- Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles-- I am still really enjoying this one.  It's been a few months.

Everyone talks about that first song you listed, and I never thought I'd heard it so I'm listening to it right now on your Space while I type this. I guess I have heard it. I love the chorus but the rest is WAYYYY TOOOO reminiscent of Alanis. And don't get me wrong. I like Alanis. I just don't like anyone else being her. :)

I never really noticed it until you mentioned it. It doesn't bother me that much because I haven't really liked anything Alanis has done since Jagged Little Pill.

Tagging me will do you no good as I am immune to your Korean witch-doctor voodoo.

Don't you go calling me Korean! Evil-empire-nuclear-missile-testing jerks. ;)

Geez, I was only curious as to what you're listening to these days!

Korean Witch-Doctors
See, that is the difference between you and me: You focus on the fact that Korea is looking to explode the world while I can't get past the fact that there are no witch-doctors in Korea. Huh.
As for music, I just don't like tagging. It makes me feel like I need an adult present to moniter the "bad touch."
Would be happy to tell you music in an e-mail.
Hmmm, maybe this is why I can't seem to post more freqeuently, the entire exhibitionist aspect of a publically accessible blog. Will have to mediatate on this.

Re: Korean Witch-Doctors
I think that potentially there are witch doctors in Korea but that they're called something else.

ION-- Nela's hematoma wasn't a hematoma at all. It was a large cyst. The doctor (that I hate) drained 500 cc's of pus out of it and she's recovering in the hospital. Is 500 cc's a lot?

Re: Korean Witch-Doctors
500cc = 500mL
1 Tablespoon = 15mL
Yes that is a lot. A cyst makes a LOT more sense than a hematoma.
And thw whole point of the joke is that they ARE called something different if they exist. This all began when none of the experiments in lab would work and a certain person who is notorious for saying odd things that do NOT make sense said we needed a Korean witch-doctor to exorcise the demons plauging us.

Re: Korean Witch-Doctors
Hooray for exorcism!

My mom wanted me to relay to you-- I'm not sure why-- that the cyst was a Bartholin (sp?) Gland cyst.

She's supposed to be coming home tonight and should make it to Joey's baptism on Sunday.
