The Immensity of FOUR

Four doesn't sound like a whole lot unless you're talking about children.  Children six years old and under.  When you are talking about four young children in a small house, for an entire weekend be prepared for little quiet, little peace and a lot of noise and yelling.  Not that it's all bad-- much of the noise is squealing with delight,  hysterical laughter and general joviality.  That stuff is okay.

It's the banging of toys and walls that is pushing me to the brink of sanity.  The whining, crying and screaming too.  The "she touched me!" and the "he took my toys."  The fighting.  The demanding.

Say it with me, "AARRRGGGHHHHHHH!"

Right now all is well.  Andy is playing on the computer, doing reading exercises on the Odyssey wab page from his school.  Joey and Nathan are watching Bolt.  Again.  At least it's not Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, which has shown in my living room at least five times this weekend.  So far.  No kidding, either.  Lexi is in the bathtub.  She's banging on the walls loudly.  Wayne is going in to mention to her that that might not be a good idea.

I'm planning to make a pot roast for dinner and mashed potatoes.

In the meantime, Wayne needs to study up some technical thing for an interview he's having tomorrow.  It's a second interview and would be an awesome job so if you're the praying type, please say something on our behalf that things start to turn around for us.  I am trying to journal and title completed layouts from crops I've attended in the past 6 months and put them into appropriate albums along with writing my list of layouts for my 2009 album and uploading the appropriate photos to Shutterfly for storage and emailing.

It's dark and gray outside.  My sanity is slowly returning.
