I am a sick puppy

It's 20 past one and I am sitting at my computer, gleefully reading all of the theories about Sarah and Bristol Palin and her boyfriend, Levi Johnston.

Several bloggers have called Rednick Levi "sex on skates."  I admit there's a quality in that hockey mugshot that reminds me of Rob Lowe in Youngblood.  I've been known to drool over a hockey player or two in my life.  Still, he's a kid and apparently had to get rid of his Myspace page that said he was "in a relationship" but that he "does not want children."

OOPS!

(HA!  I just found out that in 1980 Rob Lowe starred in an After School Special called "Schoolboy Father."  How appropriate!)

Levi ther Redneck also listed on his Myspace that he likes snowboarding and f*#$&% chillin.

The direct quote is:
“I’m a f**kin’ redneck who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes. But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some sh*t and just f**kin’ chillin’ I guess. Ya f*ck with me I’ll kick ass.”

His pictures showed some underage drinking going on.  Apparently there was some of that on Bristol's page too.  Didn't McCain's people think to look there?  I mean, most hiring managers will check Myspace to see if potential employees are potheads or internet whores.  When the candidate has teenaged kids, you check their names too.  Geez.  I wish I'd thought about searching myspace for them the other day!

Oh and when interviewed, his mom said that he's not in school anymore.  Interesting.  He's already been picked up and is being brought to Minnesota to be there on stage with Bristol tomorrow night.  I guess she won't have to hold Trig and be covered up by the big blankie anymore.

How long before an engagement ring appears on her hand?

OMG, thanks for the laughs! No shit about the stupidity to not check MySpace, Facebook, etc. pages! Woops! Actually, I swear if you look at the earlier post you made that included photos of the pregnant daughter, look carefully at her hand. I swear I saw a ring on the finger, but I'll have to look again at your previous journal entry.

But again, thanks for posting this and everything else. I don't have cable t.v. and was so preoccupied with protesting this shit that I forgot to pay attention to the obvious and funny headlines. So, just out of curiosity, what did CNN and the other networks say about what went down tonight? You might have noticed my recent post. I just BARELY escaped getting tear gased. Know why people got tear gased? Um, they refused to move. That's it. No smashing of windows or throwing rocks and bricks. Nothing like that. If that had happened, the news media would have been all over that. Go to wcco.com (our local news) and look for video clips. There's a reporter who got caught in the tear gas and reported about it yet still had no idea WHY it really even happened. Anyway, being that you live in PA, I'd be curious to know how the media is presenting this whole thing, what angle they're taking, how much coverage it's getting, if it's taking away from McCain coverage, etc.

It's getting coverage but I'm not sure how much is on the national news. I'm seeing LOTS of internet stuff-- video from on the scene featuring arrests, mace or pepper spray, police in riot gear. It's incredible and I truly believe this is history in the making, an indication that politics as a game are changing, the rules are changing and how far you have to go...
