Even the Amish Buy in Bulk

My family didn't believe me.  My Costco, in Lancaster, PA, has a horse and buggy parking section.

Oh, and Costco also sells fireworks!

I have to wonder what it is the Amish are buying at Costco.  It's not the low-priced electronics.  They're not getting their digital photos printed.  Sporting equipment?  DVDs?  My only guess is food, but do they have freezers?  I am so intrigued and interested by the various levels of Amishness and what they are allowed to do and what's forbidden.

It's been so long since I lived in PA I couldn't remember the rules - I remember families in buggies for apparently recreation, but didn't remember if the women were allowed to shop or work outside the home w/o their husbnads.

But yeah, I n=knew "no photos" - and figured no tampons. :)
