Even the Amish Buy in Bulk

My family didn't believe me.  My Costco, in Lancaster, PA, has a horse and buggy parking section.









Oh, and Costco also sells fireworks!



Weird.
 
I have to wonder what it is the Amish are buying at Costco.  It's not the low-priced electronics.  They're not getting their digital photos printed.  Sporting equipment?  DVDs?  My only guess is food, but do they have freezers?  I am so intrigued and interested by the various levels of Amishness and what they are allowed to do and what's forbidden.

ya know, that's not that strange to me. DE is amish country as well, and not only am i used to seeing horse and buggy rails outside some of the stores, but i've seen a horse and buggy in one of the parking spaces at the bob evans across the street from my house!

You know what just struck me about that? Just now. The horse and buggy parking is better than the handicapped parking!!!!
