Almost caught up

On sleep, that is.

Last night we took the boys outside in the yard to run off some energy and it was awesome.  We lit a fire in the fire pit and Wayne cleaned up the patio furniture and measured for new cushions.  All of the yards in our area are wide open and our yard backs up to a fairly busy road.  The boys are pretty good about staying away from the street but they kept running into the neighbors' yards.  Still there's something about being outside that just really helps the kids to fall asleep easier.

In other yard thoughts, I want to put up a clothesline and need to figure out the best place, least obtrusive place, for it to be.

I brought up the Big Wheel bikes from the basement but they couldn't pedal on the grass so they were scooting around.  I really should have grabbed the video camera.

Which reminds me, I need to play with the software I downloaded last night for editing video and stuff.  Our video camera is HD and uses a format that isn't incredibly common yet (AVCHD or something like that) so I can't post directly to Youtube, it needs to be converted first and I'm having a hard time with that.

I need to decide what's for dinner tonight.  I have a ton of laundry to deal with.  I need to make an appointment at the spa for a pedicure and facial.  I got gift certifcates for Valentines Day and it's almost bare toe weather.

We're not allowed to hang clothes lines here. :( I love the smell of sheets off the line.

A couple of the neighbors across the street have them and outside our development you see them everywhere. The Amish and Mennonites don't use dryers so they hang clothes out all year long.

I spent a good month, a year ago, converting video. It IS tough but once you have your DVDs all neatly burned, you'll be thrilled.

I know, it's just there's soooo many other things to do.
