Finally, a sunny morning!

Another Monday and I'm all alone in the house.  It's WONDERFUL!

It was a busy weekend, as usual.  We had all four kids for most of the weekend and I was really impatient with them.  I am trying to be more tolerant of their whinyness and attention-grabbing behavior.

I don't think we really did anything special on Friday.  I went to Walmart around 7 pm to get curtains for the 3 windows left in the house that were naked.  I found some cute ones on clearance and that made me happy.  I just hate naked windows so I wanted *something*.  I also went grocery shopping for the stuff I needed for our fantasy football draft party that was yesterday.

Saturday we did a lot of cleaning.  I was all excited because a box of books I ordered from the Sci Fi book club arrived-- my graphic Buffy Omnibus, Gaiman's Coraline and Stardust and the new Anita Blake novel are all in my hot little hands.  We hung the curtains that I bought the night before.  Then we had to drive to Langhorne to drop the boys off to Steve.  He was all excited to see them.  I got to have a Chick-fil-a sandwich and a chocolate shake.  Instead of our usual thing of doing something-- shopping or eating-- on the way back from dropping them off, we came straight home and pretty much sacked out on the couch for some Ghost Hunters.

I woke up Sunday and immediately began cleaning and cooking for the draft party.  Wayne's parents and brother were here for the first time since he first moved.  My friends, Roseanne and Rui were here.  Our friend Jake was also supposed to be here but he was sick.  So I made way too much food, as usual.  While grilling burgers and sausage, our BBQ ran out of gas.  I had to finish stuff in the oven.  We did our draft and I had no idea what I was doing.  I wanted to pick guys with weird names.  I got Donovan McNabb, Hines Ward, Laveranues Coles, Alge Crumpler, Brett Favre, Jerious Norwood... and a bunch of other people.  Shrug.  It's just fun.

After the draft, Wayne and his brother played a little Madden.  Then we all played a little Guitar Hero-- including Wayne's dad, the pastor.  Hee hee.  Wayne's parents took his kids back to meet with their mom so we had time to clean up a little and crash.  We watched one episode of Ghost Hunters on the DVR and went to sleep.
