Potty Training Woes

Andy is asking to pee on the potty every 5 seconds.  Sometimes he actually does, but most of the time he just goes in the bathroom and just flushes the toilet, and thus annoying me.  Still, I want him out of diapers ASAP so I'm trying to indulge him in this.

There is, however, a major downside.

In order to facilitate Andy's bathroom usage, I have to leave the door open to one of the bathrooms.  When I leave the door open to one of the bathrooms, inevitably, Joey ends up playing in a toilet.  That's where I found him five minutes ago.  So now they're both in the tub and I'm on the floor in the hallway typing this while they splash around.

It's just one more thing, you know?

Never mind that Wayne and I busted ass last night cleaning up the house.  This morning, they've trashed the living room already and they're working on the kitchen.

Same thing is going on here w/ the little one and the toilet! All of our TP is up, way up, or he's putting it (sometimes the whole roll) into the toilet to flush. He tried to flush a diaper yesterday too. sigh. Aaron didn't do this, I was spoiled.

Andy played in the toilet once as a smaller guy. I can't keep Joey out of it. So of course, now I have to go on a crazy bathroom scrubbing spree just in case he gets into one of them.

He also does the "lets-throw-everything-in-the-toilet" game. I am so sick of fishing stuff out of there.

Sam walked out of the bathroom and into the living room on Saturday stringing the toilet paper along with him...probably about 15 feet..

Joey has a tp fascination too. I just don't get it. And no matter how many times I tell him it's yucky or gross, he still wants to play in there...

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I don't know HOW you do it!!! Thank you for helping me stay kid-free. If I didn't have these stories I might try to get pregnant & wind up sick as a dog doing that with this lupus! :)

Any time you start to feel that baby bug, give me a call. I'll tell you stories to scare you away.

I think you get to be the cool auntie type, who does fun stuff and then send the kids back to their parents.
