2. When Harry Met Sally
6. Top Gun

Say Anything is one of my favorite movies ever. I used to watch it all the time, over and over, convinced that Lloyd Dobbler was the best boyfriend ever.

That particular line in WHMS always makes me giggle-- because *I* went to Northwestern.

Top Gun... have seen this one far too many times, but won't watch it ever again because I think Tom Cruise is a putz.

8. Cruel Intentions

11. Interview with the Vampire

12 and 13. Star Wars and Clerks, of course.

Ahhhh teen angst and blood suckers. Intergalactic warfare and jersey boys.

I love the dialogue and smarminess of Cruel Intentions-- not to mention a great soundtrack of bands I'd never heard of before. Bittersweet Symphony remains a favorite.

IWTV is the first movie I left campus to see freshman year at NU. Also one of my favorite books. Still hate Tom Cruise as Lestat.

12 and 13-- come on...

Also, number 7 is Dangerous Liaisons. Excellent film. I forgive Cruel Intentions, though--how could it ever fairly compare?

Cruel Intentions is such a fun schlocky remake of Dangerous Liaisons. I absolutely LOVE John Malkovich in DL. The two aren't even in the same realm to be compared but CI has a brunette Buffy! Goofily stupid Selma Blair! That weird alien face that Reese Witherspoon made in the car!

FUN! It's nice to log in for a minute and find a new meme. I love memes. :)

3. Heathers

14. Sense and Sensibilty (which I think I will pop on while I sew tonight!)
Jul. 6th, 2007 11:25 pm (UTC)

My friends and I used to throw Heathers quotes around all the time, in, I guess, 8th grade? Early high school?

I love Sense & Sensibility-- it is one of my favoritest movies ever. Something about the cast (even though I think Emma Thompson was way too old to play Elinor...) and the settings. I wanted to be Marianne. Oh, I want to go watch it again now...

Darn it, I knew 2, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14, but they have all already been guessed.

5. Dracula
Jul. 6th, 2007 11:27 pm (UTC)
Ah, Bram Stoker's Dracula. Gary Oldman. Winona Ryder. Keanu.... love Keanu. The first film to be included in my vampire obsession.

Damn, no fair... all the ones I know by heart are already done!

Is #10 Flowers in the Attic? I never saw the movie and am not even sure if there really IS one but I heard once that there was and that seems to fit...
Jul. 7th, 2007 02:24 pm (UTC)
Number 10 is Flowers in the Attic, starring Kristy Swanson. The movie kinda sucks and doesn't follow the book ending. It ends with Cathy pushing their mother out a window on the day of her wedding to Bart. Hello, no sequels!

Hi Juli!
Hi Juli! I know we have a lot of catching up to do but I sw this post of yours and have to jump right in. #15 is the Notebook right?!

Re: Hi Juli!
That is correct.

I LOVE that movie.
