Full of Meat and tired

It sounds perverted but it's not! We went out to a late lunch/early dinner with Wayne and Amy to Fernandes Steak House in my hometown for Brazilian BBQ, rodizio to those in the know.  We call it the Festival of Meat.  The "gauchos" walk around with huge skewers of meat that has been roasted over a spit and OHMYGAWD it's so good.  As long as you can eat, they'll keep bringing you more.

So I WAAAAYYYY  over-ate and I feel all full and slightly nauseated.  And then after the meat, we shared a couple of creme brulees- my favorite dessert ever!

After dinner we went to see my parents for a little while.  I got to visit for a few minutes with my princess, Nela's daughter.

So now I'm totally exhausted.  I have to be ready to leave the house at 6 tomorrow to take Steve to work and head out to my friend's house to take care of her cats one last time.  She gets home tomorrow from Berlin.  I want to straighten up the little bit of a mess that Andy left from eating crackers and cookies on her carpet.

Right now, Young Frankenstein is on the tv and I'm dealing with a mountain of clean laundry.   Whoo hoo.

We have a brazilian place like that in town everyone raves about. It's called Picanha. Is it similar? http://picanharestaurant.com/about_us.htm We've never been but really should try it the way people talk. It sounds good yet whenever we go out we just can't NOT go for sushi! :)

How are you doing since the accident? Hope you're feeling okay!

And um... any chance we'll EVER get a Poconos recap??? I'm dying to know how it was!

There is a place in San Diego that my cousin mentioned. I'll have to try that one of these days. I heard rumors that there is something like that here in Seattle. Dave would love that; he's part (about 75%) carnivore. ;)
