While waiting

Steve should be home soon and I'm going out with a friend tonight.  Neither one is here yet.

So while I wait, I thought I'd post some lists:

Non family related things that I love:
1.  Bare Escentuals Make Up- Oh my god, this stuff rocks.  I can pile it on and still look like I'm wearing virtually nothing.  Their Big Flirt mascara and Buzz Latte lip gloss are seriously sent from freakin' heaven.
2.  Trashy summer novels- especially vampire ones
3.  My cheapy little MP3 player and my digital camera
4.  Opening my email to find several new messages and none of them are spam
5.  Unexpected phone calls from friends (usedmonk is the king of this and it's one of the million reasons why I love him)

Things that Andy does that are cute:
1.  Points to Joey and calls him by his name
2.  Runs through the house either marching or running on tiptoe
3.  Makes a scrunchy face to flirt
4.  Sings along with every song, all the time
5.  Wants me to read "The Berenstain Bears and the Spooky Tree" over and over every night at bedtime.

Songs that I really really like, right now, even though they're not new:
1.  Anything but Mine- Kenny Chesney
2.  If You Needed Somebody- Bad Company
3.  A Matter of Trust- Billy Joel
4.  Elvis Costello- She
5.  Bless the Broken Road- Rascall Flatts

I've been steadily growing my collection. I'm still getting used to the glimmers and shadows, etc.

I've only bought one thing that I didn't like, and that was a shadow liner in a color called Patio Party. I didn't realize it when I bought it but there's a little bit of gold glittery stuff in the dark brown liner and it just doesn't suit me.

This particular mascara is awesome because the brush is weird-- it's like someone cut the bristles off half the brush and that side lets you really coat the lashes close to your eyelid and then you use the long bristled side to coat the length of the lashes. It's totally amazing.
