Yeah, where is the Hughes? I am a forever devotee of The Breakfast Club!

(Don't tell anyone, but I hated Pretty in Pink, because I wanted to slap Duckie for the entire film, and then I didn't get to.)

Pretty in Pink is really unlike his other movies. Very little humor in it. Though I totally love Andrew McCarthy in it. And James Spader.

I pretty much stick to the Hughes holy trilogy: Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Ferris Bueller.

I still haven't seen Sixteen Candles. But not because I refused to. I've just never had the opportunity. I love the other two you mentioned, though.

And I did like McCarthy & Spader in the movie. I thought the movie would have been much improved if Duckie had just not been in it.
