Someone in the Clothdiapering community posted a link to a Fuzzibunz business that's closing.  She's selling all her FBs for $12.95 with an additional $1 liner/stuffer thing.  Is that a good price?   I've poked around some websites and it seems like it is-- especially since she's offering free shipping if you spend $40 (which isn't hard to do!)

So my question is this: do I get smalls or mediums?  It seems like the consensus is that they'll be in mediums for a long time and I don't remember how much Andy weighed when.  He was 6.5 lbs at birth, but grew pretty quickly.  I'd hate to get smalls and then have him grow out of them really quickly and have to buy mediums.

I want to make this purchase today before her inventory dwindles too much!  Help!!!

How weird you should post about this today. I was nosing through your communities list yesterday seeing if you were part of any good scrapbooking ones. And then I saw the cloth diapering thing. I don't think I ever knew you cloth diapered. I think that's very cool! :)

I don't yet. I used disposeables for Andy (and still do... some of his diapers I want to get as far away from me as possible, as quickly as possible!)

With Joey, since we'll have two in diapers, I wanted to be a little more frugal and go cloth. Plus newborn diapers are much easier to deal with than toddlers. I can barely get Andy to stand still, let alone lie still for changing!

So I'm still new and trying to learn.

I don't belong to any scrapbook communities because I get very annoyed easily by people who type funny-- half caps, half lowercase and because I belong to a bunch of Yahoo Groups for scrapping.

Speaking of which, you should sign up at the creating keepsakes website. Their newsletters are great. I have a subscription to their magazine.

some are in the wash, so i cant get an exact number on how many i have at the moment. i just went and checked the clean and dirty laundry and the extra pile and found 8 of them. boyish colors, except for 2 peach ones (mike grumbled because they look pink, but he allowed nathan to wear them ) i think i have red, green, blue, baby blue, yellow, periwinkle, white, peach. 2 of them were sold to me as "seconds", one has the tag falling off and one has an unidentified problem. both work perfectly fine and i honestly wouldnt know from using them that they are any different from the rest. i only have a few inserts for smalls, so you would still have to get those but those arent too expensive. and my small fb are in great condition. he hardly wore them and most were new or gently used when i bought them. im seriously pissed that i cant get any more use from them but his thighs are so gosh darn chunky they leave deep red marks on him.

i do have a ton of hemp inserts for mediums, though. and a few large too. you may or may not need them, depending on how heavy a wetter joey is. stella soaks through everything, always has. nathan hardly wets at all. the hemp inserts are more absorbent than terry ones, so they are good for nighttime dipes or times when you wont be changing baby as often.

I posted in your journal about these... if you want to sell them to me, I'll buy them. I will probably buy mediums from that woman (if she has any inventory left today!) with the $1 microfiber inserts. Is $90 a fair price?
