Joey Update

I have been feeling really weird all day-- lots of downward pressure in the baby region.  It's not painful just weird.  I'm pretty sure he's still breech and when he kicks, he kicks downward and it hurts a lot.  He's very active, especially right after meals.  (Like, oh, right now.)

I have to postpone my appointment for tomorrow to hopefully, later in the week.  I'm not sure what tomorrow's appointment was supposed to be-- if there was a specific screening or just and in-and-out appointment.

As if right on schedule I'm having more and more vivid dreams (nightmares) about birth and miscarriage.  The latest one had me look down while driving to find that I'm bleeding all over the seat of my car but when I went to see my doctor, she told me I was fine. (And I didn't change out of my bloody jeans, I was trying to dab them clean with a wipey.)

So I'm 31 weeks pregnant and have probably 7 to go, if we schedule my C- two weeks before my due date.  I don't know if I'm going to make it!

I know you mentioned the pressure before. Is this normal (like, did you have it with Andy?) What has the OB said about it?

My pregnancy book said it's normal and when I talked to my OB about it she said it's because Joey is still breech but it is so painful and I just feel so off that I'm stressing out over it.

Which, of course, makes it worse.

You'll make it! When I was pregnant I kept dreaming that I gave birth to a cat. Did I? No! :)

It's not so much the dreams as this weird downward pressure. It's very uncomfortable. Last night I didn't sleep much-- I tossed and turned and woke up every hour or so.

Ah, you have a swimmer. I bet he's just playing with gravity!
