John McCain said in an interview with Politico on Wednesday "that he was uncertain how many houses he and his wife, Cindy, own."

"I think -- I'll have my staff get to you," McCain said. "It's condominiums where -- I'll have them get to you."

The answer, according to the group Progressive Accountability, is an even 10 homes, ranches, condos, and lofts, together worth a combined estimated $13,823,269.

I'm going to start using that line - "I'll have my staff get to you" It's hard to count ALL THE WAY to 10. He better not buy more; he may not be able to figure out moving on to his toes.

It's more that the middle class believes they relate to him. Many people in the middle class believe that one day they too will be rich, and that is why they vote for people like McCain, because that day when they too are rich, they will not want to have to count houses or pay taxes.
