Are they itchy?

How extensive is the rash?

It's just on his face and doesn't seem to bother him at all. It's just ugly.

How is he now? If it's just on his face I'd say definitely an allergic reaction to something. If it was chicken pox I was gonna ask if you could send us a pillow case or something, I want Len to get it instead of the vaccination.

It's mostly gone now. I think it was an allergic reaction to something but I don't know what. I don't think he had anything new or unusual.

It looks like a reaction I saw someone have once to strawberries. Keep in mind if you do get him allergy tested that sometimes things don't show up on tests that do give people reactions. I don't test as allergic to latex, but I definitely am! So a lot of it is just a process of elimination. I'd keep some Benadryl around in case this happens again. :) Good luck!

I would call a dr. to be safe. Looks like heat rash or an alergy

Since I haven't changed their preferred provider, their pedi is still in Jersey. I need to have Steve take them next week.

MIGHT be impetigo? We used to get that a lot around our nose & mouth as kids. It sometimes presents as a rash but usually more dry flakey skin. Did you take him to or call the ped?

When he was in daycare he was misdiagnosed by the teacher as having impetigo and it was just an outbreak of his eczema. He wasn't around any other kids or any place unusual so I don't think that's what it was.
