Evidence, I swear...

Most of the pictures I took in Chicago were on Wayne's Canon Rebel and the files are GINORMOUS.  So I have to shrink em a little before Photobucket and/or LJ will let me upload them.

Last night, however, I was able to print and frame some of the shots I took at NU for my Chicago bathroom.  I think that room is the most decorated in the whole house right now.  Hee hee...  I guess when I hang the last little pieces tonight, I'll take a photo.  I think I still need more Chicago-y nicknack stuff for the corner shelf.  Right now there's a plate, a statue of Willie the Wildcat, an NU shot glass, a tile, a big mug with a pewter N on it, a tin that had chocolate in it, a box of Chicago mints and a snow globe I bought at a rest stop on the highway.

Oh, and a really pretty photo of the skyline I bought at Navy Pier from a company called Air One.  This is the photo I bought:

I had a hard time picking one... there was another where the sky looked pink but all the buildings were reflected in the lake.  It looked like some kind of test for mental patients.  I always remember the sky over Chicago being pink at night.  I remember standing on the L platform at Southport on the brown line, right over the middle of the street and looking up into the pink sky, watching snow fall.

My friend, Rachael, who is now a wedding/corporate photographer out that way, is supposed to be finding me more photos of Chicago landmarks.  I'm thinking about the Chicago Theater, Buckingham Fountain, the L, and I guess that bean thing.  We didn't get a chance to really drive around the city much because of the weather and the boys.  Oh well!  I think we're going back in the spring anyway.  Hopefully then I'll get a chance to meet lynnh and nancydrew811

So yeah, photos asap.
