*SIGH*

I am giving myself 15 minutes to type and then I have to vacuum the living room and make myself something to eat.

Finally both boys are asleep.  Getting Andy to take a nap is torture lately.  He fights it and fights it and then just crashes-- HARD.  Poor little guy.

Steve is working late- again- and will tomorrow night too.  There's something wrong with his car- the timing belt he thinks- so he's driving mine and I've been stranded in the house all week.  For this I will definitely look for some me time over the weekend.  It sucks to not be able to leave.

Woke up this morning, showered and headed out the door to Shoprite for groceries.  I wanted to load up on fresh produce and diet food.  I'm still feeling all motivated and not tempted at all to cheat.  I actually had a really good time shopping all by myself.  I wore my cheesy little MP3 player and had a blast.  People must have thought I was nuts.  I have to change out some of the songs though.  :)

Got home from shopping and made Steve's lunch/dinner for the day and sent him off to work.  Since then I have done a bunch of cleaning, fed both boys, done two loads of laundry, gave Joey a bath and here I am.  Time certainly flies, doesn't it?

Thought I had your address, but can't find it. I have some NGS coupons for you! email me at cric623@yahoo.com, please!

That would stink to be stuck in the house!

Just got the Good Start checks today! That's practically free formula. Thanks so much!

No problem! If I get more, they are being sent your way.

I'm impressed that you can vacuum while the boys are sleeping. Ella wakes up if I step on a floor board wrong!

We read the Happiest Baby on the Block by Dr. Harvey Karp when Andy was born and we never made the house quiet for him to sleep. It's all about calming colicky babies and techniques to help them sleep better, be less fussy. It was a lifesaver and some of the techniques still work on him.

When he was teeny tiny, I'd actually vacuum to put him to sleep. It's crazy.

Some babies are just more sensitive. I've been so lucky with both of my boys and their sleep habits.

It's funny because Ella was colicky and we actually had a vacuum CD for her which would put her to sleep but now even though we were never quiet for her she's sensitive to noise. It's weird. I'm kind of a light sleep though, so maybe she gets it from me.
